Like many small regional communities sport plays a major role in the way of life for a majority of Loxton local residents. The town has a strong focus on many sports including football, netball, basketball, tennis, volleyball as well as a large range of other competitive sporting pursuits.
Loxton Waikerie Council commissioned a sporting precinct masterplan to consider the potential to redevelop an entire sporting precinct. The redevelopment enhances the recreational services infrastructure, providing a new community focus for passive and active recreation, fitness and leisure. The new facility has a twin court sports hall, tiered seating, flexible change rooms, café, gallery and administration accommodation coupled with a mezzanine level function space overlooking Loxton Oval.
TMK provided full engineering services. This included structural, civil and building services.
